As a student of theatre I was in awe of actors who could recite any piece of text from past shows they had performed in. Edmund Kean was a master at this. Ask him to recite any Shakespeare monologue and "boom" he delivered.
While I don't recite much Shakespeare in this show, I do bring with me a plethora of favourite pieces, poems, stories, and monologues, even bits from my walking tours. I throw all the titles into a hat. You, the audience draw the title out of my hat and I perform it.
No two shows are alike. I never know what you'll pick so I have to know all of them.
It's a great acting exercise for me, and a highly entertaining show for you.
This show is completely flexible. It can be as short or long as you want it - WARNING, often this show is booked as a short 15 minute entertainment and then audience enthusiasm extends the performance to a full 1 hour show. That's how much fun this is.
