William was sentenced to "hang until dead" by Justice Street on October 31, 1889 and every year around Halloween JayWalking Guelph takes you on a journey into the life of this family. 

We visit the places that influenced William and ultimately the location where he was hung.

In the words of the local newspaper "It is a sad, sad tale".
